October 7, 2026 – Artificial intelligence is helping workers’ compensation claims professionals spend less time on paperwork, but determining whether those savings translate into better outcomes for injured workers remains a challenge, industry experts say.
Rising Medical Solutions’ 2025 Workers’ Compensation Benchmarking Study, released in late September, found that 58% of respondents using predictive modeling and AI-driven analytics reported improved frontline staff efficiency or effectiveness. However, 28% had not assessed those gains and 35% had not assessed the effect on claim closure outcomes.
