Rick Thompson’s role is to shape and sustain a vibrant corporate culture, and ensure every Rising employee is nurturing their strengths and talents to the fullest. Rick’s eye for new training techniques, employee development methods, and wellness programs has created a Talent Management department steeped in best practices. Under his leadership, employees receive comprehensive onboarding, continuous communication and ongoing training opportunities, increasing both employee spirit and productivity.

With 20-plus years of experience, Rick has worked in Leadership Development at United Airlines, and served as a Human Resources consultant and writer for AON Risk Services, E-insure.com and HarperCollins Publishers. Additionally, he has authored 12 instructional books and worked in educational publishing at Cook Communications.

Rick has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and an MBA degree, both from Bradley University. He is also certified in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator® and the Predictive Index instruments.
